OUR PROJECT

priority objective for the EU’s internal and external policies. The EU welcomed the adoption of the 2030 Agenda and committed to implementing the SDGs and fully integrating the goals into the European policy framework. The idea of realizing this project work was created by considering the document “Towards a Sustainable Europe by 2030” published by the European Union.

Therefore our project will be structured in 4 main topics;
-art for gender equality (related to the SDG “gender equality”)
-promoting sustainable agriculture (related to the SDG “Zero hunger”)
-sustainable consumption (related to the SDG “responsible production and consumption”)
-promotion of peace, tolerance and respect (related to the SDG “Peace, justice and strong institutions”)

The motivation for this project is to share and implement best practices on how to build on the foundation of similarities between different nationalities to attain a higher sense of European and international citizenship amongst the students, while respecting differences in cultural and personal identity. Having sustainable life will be good for all generations. And VET schools have very important for these goals. Based on all these, 4 schools from different parts of Europe (France, Turkey, Italy, Greece) have prepared a project for a sustainable life and fighting climate change which is one of the EU objectives. In this context, we planned to share good examples and collaborate in order to support sustainable development goals.In all the topics there will be a transversal approach to the goals “Quality Education”, “Gender Equality”, “Partnership for the goals” and “Reduced inequalities”.

If we want to change behaviors, we have to change minds and for that we have to educate, share good practices, give examples, increase the knowledge and develop key competences so that youngsters can make the right choices, promotetheir personal growth and citizenship and take responsibility for their own life and their environment.

With this project, we also aim to improve awareness and knowledge about the rights, values and principles deriving from Union law, to elaborate and disseminate best practices and to create practical tools and solutions that address Union-wide challenges.
